Concept

The formula contains simple active ingredients: a cocktail of seaweed, calcium, potassium, magnesium, iron, lecithin, vitamins C, E, B12, essential oils and very few preservatives.

More than the ingredients themselves, it is their biofermentation that gives Crème de la Mer its incredible virtues. Indeed, in three to four months, they metamorphose into a nutritive substance called Miracle Broth. A patented active ingredient with unparalleled regenerating powers.

To ensure that the balance of this formula is perfectly respected, each jar is still filled by hand today. A process that runs counter to current industrial methods.

FOUNDER, dr. Max Huber

The story begins with Dr. Max Huber. He suffered severe burns as a result of a laboratory experiment. A physicist and dreamer, he hoped to unlock the secret of the regenerative power of the sea. He set out on a personal quest to transform the appearance of his burnt skin.

As a seaside resident, Dr. Huber was constantly inspired by underwater life, especially the incredible regenerative properties of giant seaweed. Dr. Huber, mastering the art of bio-fermentation, eventually created his own method of releasing the active ingredients of these algae's so pure ingredients through fermentation.

12 years and 6,000 experiments led him to an absolute discovery, an elixir resulting from a fermentation process transforming algae and other pure ingredients, the Miracle Broth™, which would transform the appearance of his skin. The Miracle Broth™ is present in all La Mer products.
