Created in 1996 by make-up artist Laura Mercier, Laura Mercier Cosmetics is a complete make-up line including make-up, facial care, body care and fragrances is recognized for its technical and artistic qualities.

The brand has created iconic, best-selling products such as Tinted Moisturizer, Tinted Moisturizer Base and Loose Setting Powder to help everyone look and feel their best.

The brand was built around Laura Mercier's personal philosophy that "what makes you unique makes you beautiful".

Concept

Laura Mercier, the pioneer of "Flawless Face", which consists in giving the skin a perfect and flawless appearance thanks to tinted products adapted and chosen to measure for each woman. This perfect complexion routine consists of four steps: make-up base, foundation, correction and finally, fixing powder. « Flawless Face » is the very essence of the art of complexion signed Laura Mercier.

Each product has been specially developed to enable every woman to achieve a smooth, invisible and incredibly natural complexion. Laura creates timeless and elegant tones with a consistent colour palette instead of creating colour trends for each season.

FOUNDER, Laura Mercier

Laura Mercier began her apprenticeship at the age of 17 at an art school in Paris. After making the decision to turn to the art of beauty, on the advice of her mother, she returned to Carita school where she specialized in make-up. Later on, she will be a professional make-up artist at Carita and a make-up teacher, while collaborating with Thibault Vabre, the fashionable make-up artist of the time.

Laura moved to New York in 1985, and joined the team that launched the American Elle. She immediately began working on advertising campaigns. One thing led to another and Laura worked with clients such as L'Oréal, Maybelline, Victoria's Secret, Gap, Banana Republic.

In 1996, Laura created her own cosmetics brand "Laura Mercier Cosmetics" with Janet Gurwitch Bristow. Her line is aimed at all women, whatever their age, complexion or skin type. Laura personally chooses the shades of her cosmetics to meet the needs of her customers.
