The creator, Etienne de Swardt

It was in this region of South Africa that Etienne de Swardt, the founder of the brand, was born.
A free state indeed, an autonomous, independent republic. An enclave. The term Orange is a reference to the princely Orange-Nassau family of the Netherlands, the home metropolis of the majority of the pioneers who settled in these lands.

When he created his perfume house in 2006, it was natural that Etienne gave it the name of his homeland.
