Eau de Magnolia trouve son origine dans une conversation entre Frédéric Malle et Carlos Benaïm, parfumeur de renom.
Parlant de la fleur de magnolia et de l'évaporation de sa composition chimique proche d'une eau de Cologne, leur vint alors l'idée d'exagérer l'équilibre hespéridé du magnolia pour en faire une eau.
Ainsi naît L'Eau de Magnolia, devenue un chypre frais, une note extraordinairement transparente et naturelle, animée par cette touche sombre en fond qui lui donne profondeur et sensualité et lui confère une dose de mystère.
Un parfum estival et intemporel.

Notes de tête: Bergamote.
Notes de coeur: Magnolia, Patchouli, Vétiver.
Notes de fond: Bois de Cèdre, Ambre, Mousse.

The story

Because Les Editions de Parfums was created to give free rein to the imagination of artists with very different styles, the house's compositions do not illustrate a common aesthetic, on the contrary, they are very diverse.

Yet there are two points in common to all these creations: a stripped-down - almost minimal - olfactory writing that leaves room only for the essential, and also the fact that each of these fragrances is not worked to be simply a beautiful scent, but to become one with the person who will wear it. The house's collection is increasingly important because, out of respect for designers and customers, Frédéric Malle doesn't want to publish ephemeral scents.
