This perfume is a color, a silence, a rhythm, a light. A black composition with animal notes. Corpus Equus pays tribute to the noble and wild nature of an Arabian stallion. Fiery, with cghaud blood and an elegant gait.

Perfumer's note

CORPUS EQUUS is not a contrast between the top, heart and base notes, but rather a contrast between black colors and velvet in all its shimmering effects.
Black rose petal, leather and horse hair, cigarette ash, Tonkin musk, amber infusion.

Naomi Goodsir Parfums has been a member of the Fragrance Foundation France since its fragrance, Nuit de Bakélite, received the 2018 FIFI Award in Paris for: "Best Fragrance from an Independent Niche Brand" in the "Experts' Award" category. A first for an Australian designer. Naomi Goodsir's fragrances are handcrafted and packaged in France near Grasse, where Naomi Goodsir lives and works. Corpus Equus by Bertrand Duchaufour, the sixth fragrance in the collection, is an interpretation of deep black leather, animal & contemporary - a tribute to a proud & impetuous horse.
