Kilian Hennessy’s Inspiration: Better with age, Old Fashioned is our new fragrance with whisky accords inspired by the complex taste structure of an 18-year-old single malt.
This fragrance transports us directly to the Scottish Highlands, by the fireplace in a family estate passed down through generations, evoking the purest of fine whiskies: a single malt.
Old Fashioned is a fragrance from another era, a modern refinement in scent, like the taste of an exceptional Scottish whisky in an old-fashioned delight.
The fragrance opens with an incredible sip of wheat absolute and the slightly floral liqueur aspect of Davana essence.
It then opens into a complex of ultraconcentrated cedarwood essence and Everlasting absolute, with lingering notes of Styrax and Tolu balsam to suggest the aging of barrels and the misty, wooded moors of Scottish history.

The story
In 2007, Kilian launched his own namesake brand with the ambition of reflecting not only his distinct personality, but also to achieve a perfect alliance between elegance and uncompromising luxury. His “eco-luxe” philosophy that each bottle can be refilled and kept for a lifetime catapulted the brand to the top of the fragrance market and into a niche of its very own.
