Do Son Eau de Parfum - limited edition
As a child, Yves Coueslant, one of Diptyques founders, spent his summers at the seaside in a pagoda that his father had built in Do Son, close to Halong Bay. The air was cooler there, far from the humid heat of the large port in Haiphong, and the sea breeze carried with it the heady and slightly spicy scent of tuberoses that his mother loved so much.
These limited editions are adorned with an embossed red sticker reinterpreting Do Son's iconic panorama and evoking one of the signature colours of traditional lacquerware. Through the transparent bottles, Do Son's decor comes to life in two dimensions.
The outer boxes have been designed with a woven rattan effect in a natural colour reminiscent of the traditional Vietnamese craft.

The story
Born in exuberant, ebullient Saint Germain, Paris, in 1961 Diptyque is a creator of singular perfumes for the self and the home, scented skincare products, desirable decorative objects and olfactory stories that set the imagination free. Striking a balance between reverie and reality, Diptyque extends an invitation to this rich, evocative universe this interplay of fragrance, illustration and mesmerising graphism in which are distilled memories of places loved or dreamed of, of moments lived, of journeys shared.
